Mr. Giacomo is a senior sales executive with over 25 years of securities industry experience. For 13 years, he was a SVP and institutional corporate bond salesman with Dean Witter, Morgan Stanley and PaineWebber. He has worked with Hedge Funds since 2001 as a Managing Director at Gramercy Advisors, an Emerging Market Distressed Debt Hedge Fund, where he helped create a multi-product fund management company from a $70mm single manager strategy and increased AUM to over $1.2bn. He created the marketing program, customer service policies/procedures, negotiated TPM contracts and was the lead contact for over 300 pension funds, foundations, endowments, insurance companies, fund of funds and family offices, throughout the world. He conducted weekly portfolio reviews and board level presentations on Emerging Market distressed corporate and sovereign debt, VAR analysis, CDS hedging strategies and macro-economic asset allocation and outlook. More recently he launched LRC Capital, a hedge fund consulting firm, working with a number of managers and investment partnerships in a variety of strategies. Including, Structured Products, Russian Equity, L/S US Equity Quantitative and Fundamental, Chinese NPL's, Event Driven, Global Macro and Global Distressed Debt for the Schroder Credit Renaissance Fund.
Mr. Giacomo was also instrumental in the early days of internet advertising while at Softbank Interactive Marketing and helped create the fastest growing internet e-commerce site on the Web at enews.com. He has been on the Investment Committee for an Australian Bridge Loan Fund, was elected Chairman of the Official Creditors Committee for a multi-billion dollar US bankruptcy and is currently an investment advisor to a number of investment trusts and a litigation trust.
